Card Information

Ink – Basic Black, Peach Parfet and Poppy Parade

Accessories – Blender Pens and Rhinestones.

Very easy to do and so much fun.

Newspaper Card

I created this card for my August Stamp Camp. It was so much fun.

Stamp Set – Aviary

Card stock – Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Real Red, and DSP Newsprint

Ink – Versa Mark and Real Red

Embossing powder – Black.

Square Lattice Textured Impression

Punch – Dotted Ribbon Border

Since I work for a newspaper, this card just came so easy to me. I couldn’t think of any other colors to use, this had to be the one. Hope you enjoy this card.

Sorry it has been so long in between posts. Hopefully I’ll get better.

Have a great day and God Bless You All

Stampin’ Up 2010 Convention

Flower PowerHi Everybody.

This year’s convention is Share What You Love and believe me Stampin’ Up! is truly my passion. Today we checked in and got our bags and of course went to Memento Mall (lots of fun Stampin’ Up! items and I love everything I bought.

Later this afternoon I had two classes. One was Evolving and Energizing your Business and the other was Remarkable Recruiter. Each were very interesting. After that, Ric and I went to Olive Garden and shared a dinner because they are so big and I wanted so little. The excitement is really killing my appetite. This evening. It was a Flower Power party. They gave away 3 different products (didn’t win but there is always tomorrow) There was music from the 60′s and everybody was in tie die shirts and the headbands with long straight hair. It was fun to look back….put a smile on my face.  Now it’s rest and then I’ll be back at it tomorrow.

Here are a few of the samples I got pictures of from convention today

This card was done with just a circle punch and the Top Note Die Cut

Here is another card

Stencil Card

This was done with a Stampin’ Up! Stencil. So easy yet it was so beautiful.

Talk to you all tomorrow night. Have a good day

Card using Watercolor Trio

I created this card a couple of days ago and finally got it posted. I used  Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Craft card stock. Stamped in Crumb Cake using one of the stamps in the Watercolor Trio kit.

Punched some flowers and attached it to the whisper white card stock using a black brad. The ribbon was attached to the back of the card, run on the back until I got to the center and then I punched a hole and brought the ribbon to the front and tied a know.

This was so much fun.

Have a great day and God Bless You All

4th of July Card for Stamp Camp

This is one of the cards we made at our June Stamp Camp. I am using a new camera and new computer and still working on the cropping. Please excuse the messy background.

I used the new July 4th Stamp Set that can be found in the Summer Mini Catalog. The colors are Real Red and Not Quite Navy. A scallop punch and the 1 3/8″ circle punch. plus the new Textured Impressing Embossing Folder. There are some real creative women at my Stamp Camp and they came up with some really neat variations to this card.

I’ll have more posts on tonight with the other projects we did.

Have a Great Day and God Bless You All

Stamp Class May 2010

Hi Everybody

Today I had a great time at my May Stamp Camp. We created 3 cards and a little chocolate candy holder

Here are 2 of the cards I created for today’s class. Hope you like them.

The two cards were created with new stamp sets found in the Summer Mini Catalog. The Ice Cream card is created using the Sweet Scoop Stamp set and the Island Oasis DSP. I used Temping Turquoise, Real Red and Whisper White Card stock as my colors. The ice cream cones are stamped in Pretty In Pink and then embossed with Clear embossing powder that I added  1/2 teaspoon of Unsweetened Kool-aid. When you scratch the ice cream cone, it smells like….Cherries.  This was a fuun card to do. I worked for 2 hours on a card using this stamp set, wasn’t really impressed with it and started changing colors and had this made in 5 minutes….Isn’t creating funny!

For my second card, I used the stamp Set Tropical Party On Your Birthday Stamp Sets and again the Island Oasas DSP. Old Olive and Whisper White card stock that I used the Texturz PlateKit #4 to give it a wood-grain look , sponged it with chocolate chip. The flowers are stamped in Pumpkin Pie and rolled in Rose Red. The coconut is stamped with Soft Suede and then accessories colored. If you’re not comfortable rolling the flower in rose red, you can use a sponge dauber to sponge the edges of the flowers. The flowers center is a gold brad and is then coated with Crystal Effects. The ribbon that could be optioal, is Pumpkin Pie.

It does look like part of the cards are cut off, so I’ll fix that tonight.

If you would like any more information, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at ldestampin@yahoo.com

Thank you and have a great day

God Bless You All
